Community Service Blocks

Cut 1-8.5 "square and 20-2.5"squares to make these blocks
I belong to a quilt guild that makes quilt blocks every month for our community service quilts. Marianna, one of our members, has taken over the community service block of the month. She distributes some pre-cut blocks to members to sew, as well as, posting a pattern online for members to create additional blocks with their own fabric or with the guilds stash. The orange and blue Bear's Claw or Maple Leaf was distributed by Anna, who presided Marinna. I love how well the colors compliment each other. Marianna's blocks will probably go to children and teens, who are spending time in the hospital. We often make quilts for the elderly and babies and this gives us the opportunity to make fun quilts for children and teens. I think all these blocks would be great for teens.

Cut 1 ivory 4.5" x 8.5" rectangle & 1 ivory 4.5" square, cut 1 floral 4.5" x 8.5" rectangle, cut 1 dark pink 4.5" square, and cut 1 light pink 4.5" x 12.5" rectangle.
